Parachute Rigging Courses
Designed for riggers, by riggers.
At USAPR, you will experience hands-on instruction delivered by internationally-respected Master Riggers at a world-class facility. Class sizes are small by design – no more than three candidates per instructor – in order to provide the level of individualized attention required to produce parachute riggers of the highest pedigree.
Our Parachute Rigging Courses
We annually offer on-site instruction at our Arizona loft between September and April. Parachute Rigging Courses are for serious civilian and military candidates who are committed to bolstering personal skills and to advancing the safety and integrity of skydiving. Demand is high and space is limited for all courses – get in touch for availability.
Scheduled Courses
Tuition $3,000, plus testing fees
Master Rigger
Intensive, 15-day course focused on the requisite skills an FAA Senior Rigger or foreign equivalent must have to earn an FAA Master Rigger license.
Tuition $3,000, plus testing fees
Senior Rigger
Hands-on, 15-day course designed to train individuals with basic parachute knowledge to earn their FAA Senior Parachute Rigger license.

Advanced Skills
Customized 5-day course for current, licensed riggers who lack substantial experience in specific practical applications.
Tuition $1,000, plus testing fees
Additional Ratings
Rigorous 5-day course for current, licensed riggers interested in earning additional ratings, including Back, Chest or Seat.
Applicable testing fees only
No-Instruction Testing
Opportunity for trained and currently eligible license candidates to complete oral, written and practical testing with a DPRE.
